Geebung, << JEE buhng, >> is the common name of a group of small Australian trees and shrubs. There are about 60 kinds. All bear fleshy fruit that forms part of the traditional diet of Aboriginal people. The name is believed to have come from an Aboriginal word for these fruits, jibbong.
