Pentland Firth

Pentland Firth is a narrow sea passage in northern Scotland. The firth separates the Orkney Islands from Highland Region on the Scottish mainland. At its narrowest point, between Duncansby Head and Brough Ness, the firth is only about 6 miles (10 kilometers) wide.
