Saint David’s Day

Saint David’s Day is celebrated on March 1 in honor of the patron saint of Wales. Saint David (Dewi Sant in Welsh) was born probably in the A.D. 500’s. He was bishop of the town in Dyfed now named St. David’s. See David, Saint .
