Mount Wilhelm

Mount Wilhelm is the highest peak in Papua New Guinea. It lies in the Bismarck Range, about 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of Goroka, and rises to a height of 14,793 feet (4,509 meters) above sea level. Its summit is often snow-capped, and little vegetation grows on its slopes at altitudes higher than 10,000 feet (3,000 meters).
