Blimp

Blimp is a small airship. Its gas bag has no metal framework and collapses when the gas is taken out. The British called these airships limps during World War I (1914-1918). Because the most common limp was type-B, the two names were soon combined into blimp. See also Airship (Nonrigid airships) .
