Wager is a bet, or anything which is risked on the outcome of an event or the answer to a question. Money or other property may be wagered, or it may be agreed that the loser of the bet shall do a certain thing. Laws do not enforce the payment of wagers, except in certain countries and states where that kind of gambling is lawful.
